Hello my name is Kim Silvers and I am the site coordinator for the Gallup, NM, AIS PREP program. I am working with AIS PREP to help provide  educational skills and learning opportunities for our Native American youth to help them become successful in completing highschool and college. I have worked with children within our school district for 3 years and now the past 4 years with AIS PREP. Having this work experience has given me great skills in team building, planning stimulating educational activities and how to handle challenging behavior, and utilizing positive communication. Using these skills I have been able to create a safe environment for kids to learn and build their confidence and independence. I love our PREP program kids and wish so much for their success! I am so grateful for the AIS PREP program. Working together towards building brighter futures for our youth.
