PREP SITE - Hopi, Arizona

Greetings, my name is Christopher Polivema and I am the Site Coordinator for the AIS Site in Hopi, AZ. I have been working for the AIS STEAM program for the past 6 years. For the first 3 years, I was part of the AIS Site in Tuba where I started as a floater and later started the AIS Site in Hopi. My main goal is to give our Native American youth opportunities and to introduce them to STEAM. Working with AIS Prep has given me the skills to plan educational activities, team communication, and be a positive role model for our youth - because they are the future. I really enjoy working with our Hopi, AZ staff and especially our students; just seeing the smiles on their faces makes everything that much better about AIS Prep. I am so proud and grateful to be a part of this awesome program.
