AIS Announces New Administrative Assistant

American Indian Services welcomes Tishna Campbell to the team as the new Administrative Assistant.

Meet Tishna Campbell

Tishna Campbell was born in upstate New York near the Cattaraugus reservation until she was twelve years old. Her family of eight then made a new home in the heart of the Utah, where she lives today.

In 2001, Tishna's parents formed a multicultural group called "Remembering our Culture" that she says she has been blessed to participate in since she was eighteen. Through this group she has had the opportunity to explore her roots through music, building on her talent for singing that she has cultivated since she was a young child. Music has become a integral part of her life and something she likes to do often. She says, "My time spent in this group is where my love of other cultures as well as a deeper love of my own was cultivated."

Tishna went on to attend Brigham Young University, as well as Utah Valley University, pursuing a degree in Behavioral Science. She has since been enjoying a thriving career in Office Management and joins the AIS team bringing a decade's worth of experience with her.

“I'm so excited to be a part of the AIS team and look forward to growing into my responsibilities and learning new skills as well!”

Please join us as we give her a warm welcome to the AIS team. Her work will be essential in successfully growing our organization to serve more Native American students in the coming years. "With Tishna’s expertise in office management & customer service she is an asset to the AIS team, and we are fortunate to have her," says Chauma Kee-Jansen, Executive Director of American Indian Services.
